Ancestral origins of Prof Ynot

Unbeknownst to me at the time, on a sleepy afternoon many treetops ago, Prof Ynot was being born in the wilds of my subconscious mind in a grocery store in Lawrence, Kansas. It was the middle 1980s and I was shopping, almost totally asleep to the mysteries and first lines of poems surrounding me when a vision of who "Tony" would become exploded fully formed in my slumbering mind. Like a ‘flash of young lightening’, in the frozen meat section, a monarch butterfly flew right in front of me and I woke up! It was as if a Zen Master had given me a Zen koan and the answer to the koan all at once! In an instant, this ironically displaced butterfly in a grocery store, delivered a download of enlightenment and my path to becoming Prof Ynot, a reverse engineered professor of art and creator of ONWARD to HEREDOM.

In that flash of logospheric illumination, the messenger butterfly gifted me the path to discovering my creative consciousness in the eternal present moment. In retrospect, seeing this butterfly where it normally is not seen, was like the process of a Zen Master extracting a student Zen out of conditioned, linear logical consciousness and into the nonlinear, eternal present moment of spontaneity, no mind and enlightenment. The Monarch butterfly, in essence, became my Zen Master for years to come and gave me access to the infinite present moment, the first lines of poetry. It snapped me out of my stupor of the familiar and transformed my creative consciousness.
